In the last decade, body/mind workouts have grown in popularity as individuals seek ways to reduce stress and maintain fitness. For many, the proposition of a gym membership leads to many members paying for services they never use, such as free weights, cardio machines, and various machines. Furthermore, most gyms do not offer a wide variety of yoga classes, failing to fulfill consumer demand.

Agoy-Yoga is a simple concept. They offer a convenient, peaceful space for anyone to practice their art of yoga and to reward dedication.  Each Agoy-Yoga location provides for a simple schedule with professionally instructed classes at peak times.

There are also several other smaller studios for one to eight others who can utilize this space to practice themselves or with the aide of a video instructor. Each lobby provides for a tea and juice bar that allows for friends to meet before or after class and also provides for a unique high noon tea experience which we’ve been told is wonderful for bachelorette parties or to enjoy after a noon yoga session.

To simplify the process of managing classes, Agoy-Yoga provides an app that manages your payments and scheduling of classes. This simplifies the process of ensuring that space for you is reserved or if classes fill, whether small practice rooms are available. We helped strengthen various aspects of this business model and worked on app mock-ups to fit the visual feel Agoy-Yoga sought.

Another marketing idea we developed surrounds the rewards program that the company uses to incentivize practicing. With the purchase of kharma plans (currency or credits for multiple classes) rather than purchasing single classes, Agoy-Yoga welcomes you to each class with a cool down tea to encourage making time for yourself in busy schedules and to motivate return visits. We think the program makes Agoy-Yoga a place where you don’t simply go to workout, but the first place you think of when you wish to relax. We see this as a way for Agoy-Yoga to build a personal relationship with customers so it’s not just where you asana.
